Here in Merika, on the cheap cable channelsWe have a surplus of 2 minute long commercials, but the worst are two nearly identical pleading for the rescue of either orphan children or abandon pets. I think they were made by the same director because the camera work is so similar. Mostly aimed directly to the sad eyes of the subjects, with a 2nd rate actress asking for donations, while depressing music plays.
