I'm hopeless.I paint using my old familiar stuff, and that is that. I could probably make better stuff with new software, but it wouldn't be me, if that makes sense.

It does :)I'm suggesting the use of the Gimp as a ridiculously bloated image optimiser once you're finished. In hindsight, I'm sure there are very many better ideas in the world.
