# Not the simplest of programs to get the hang of, yes.
And you'll start hunting for plug-ins after getting the basics down.
But it is as powerful as Nuke, which is what many feature movies are
post-processed with. Main thing is the 32bit rendering path, and the
node-based workflow, it makes it possible to do everything that you
could manually do in Photoshop, but are able to save, modify,
and best of all animate any of the settings.
Also: unlike the layer styles, which are more limited and have no way
of chaining, you can drop the mods into the path anywhere you like.
Grab the 2.0beta version, when you have learned the core tools.
