The first things that sprang to mind about a modern remake is that there aren't any pubs or porno cinemas left.Whoever plays the nurse will have to commute to work - no way is she living in a swanky pad in central London - and the zoo kid would probably want twenty quid for his balloons, or the equivalent in euros, etc.

A quick Google says thatthere is still the odd porn cinema around.
It might have to be renamed An American Werewolf in Huddersfield, though.
