I pick up bits and pieces of complaints about the British healthcare systembut it's not clear what the beef is, and some of it seems contradictory. Like, it's a good system and we should support it, but it's a shitty system.

Sounds like a typical Liberal vs Conservative clash of ideologiesLiberals don't understand that nothing is FREE and conservatives don't mind spending if what is bought is worth the money spent--but very often, a government-run program produces shoddy results.
