I think mofaha was just running unsecured,
Rather plain http port 80.
I think big players like Google are taking it upon themselves to enforce tighter standards and more advanced encryption

That's what I was thinking
If one was to open the image and a new tab there is no problem.
Seems akin to 'mixed content' blocking in old Internet Explorer.

Chrome started blocking mixed content by default earlier this year,
as do some other browsers (some still just give a warning).
