tl;dr: It's possible but massively unlikely.
The virus is certainly present in stool samples, even weeks after infection. Faecal matter is present in unimpeded farts, but much, much less present in farts that have passed through underpants and clothing.

it's almost as ifhaving a couple of layers of cloth between where it exits the body and the outside world somehow impedes the ability of the particles to spread into the wider atmosphere...
