The Church is a creation of humans and only claim to speak on behalf of the Big Fella Upstairs, I don't think they get a say over what actually happens in the afterlifeIn the words of Charles Fort, "I conceive of nothing, in religion, science, or philosophy, that is more than the proper thing to wear, for a while."
