The character in Amazon Original's Reacher is an ex military policeman who lives as a self-proclaimed hobonot sure if the 'murder' part is the character investigating and/or avenging murders.
The character is physically large which iirc is in line with the books in comparison with the more diminutive stature of Tom Cruise who played the character in a movie.
