# I'm getting my new prescription sunglassses on Sunday
I will be able to go out in the sun and everything now.

# splendid!
i just wear contacts and ordinary sunglasses, but you get sand in your eyes with that :(

# I have luvverly
photo-chromatic(?) lenses - only tested them in the sun once so far, cos it was pissing down when I got them yesterday.

# put them in the fridge
and leave them on a windowsill when you aren't wearing them and the photochromatic stuff works better. And NEVER get tooth paste on them cos it'll kill the photochromaticy stuff. FACT

# I know
I'm probably gonna regret this, but why/how?

# i don't know why toothpaste ruins them but it does.
the fridge/windowsill thing works cos they react to light and cold and they improve the longer they are exposed to either. if you go out on a really cold day, they'll go dark.
do you regret it yet?

# Amazingly, no.
I was expecting some long-winded technical explanation - not something simple and comprehensible.

# I don't get on well
with contacts as I don't have enough tears in my eyes, apparently. (still have them, just don't wear them often or for long)
