dokey.
Today I've just done nowt after yesterday - got aches in places I didn't know I had :)

whether to duck into a net cafe and see if you were on the board, but by the time I was free, I had spent over two hours in a meeting about street lighting and walked about 6 miles taking photographs (including a wander over to that brutalist concrete car park in Gateshead where bits of Get Carter were shot, walking over the Tyne Bridge, the High Level Bridge and the Swing Bridge, up to the Civic and back for the meeting, around the Quayside and castle, then all the way out on westgate road to Big Lamp). I decided to bail out and get home!

My aches are in my feet.

...I've walked fucking miiiiiiillllles.

If you imagine the city centre, bounded by the motorway, the town moor, blenheim st and the river... we walked pretty much every street in that area... and every stair, chare, alleyway, square, etc... Mostly in two two-day trips.

It's quite a compact city centre, but you can still rack up a fair old mileage if you cover ALL of it...

say there's a lot of places in that area I've never walked! What's the project? Summat to do with street lighting obviously.....are we going to get nice new 'mugger unfriendly' lights down here?
