I understand and respect thefact that some people don't like football but I do and I was wondering if they have to moan about it all the time....?

Good point...I prefer Motor sports myself especially bikes. But not passionate enough to go out and stab people for wearing the wrong colour shirt..LOL

Right onI prefer the world superbikes to Football
And yes I agree with the point that there is footy on all the time but the world cup (sentimental filter to the on position) is a bit special as you get to see teams and players that you never normally get to see and the added joy of seeing the French getting their asses slapped by Senegal.

It's not 4 weeks every 4 years though is it?That's just the world cup - then you have the league 10 months a year and the Euro Championships every 4 years too. Seems to me to be constantly around.

yeah, but we dont normallyget all this bitching about league games and so forth. I think its the hype and constant coverage that is pissing people off, not the football itself. I personally love the world cup and shall be leaving work at lunchtime to drink and watch the match with my friends.
