# in a non PR way, like 'me and my mates do this.'
I've just released some manky old software I wrote 5 years ago for my PhD.
It's a sort of splattery sketching program that only works on a Mac (and requires a drawing tablet).

I announce it here purely because
a) I am vain
b) Most people here would get something out of it and are likely to have drawing tablets, no?
c) You folks deserve some input from me that isn't stupid pictures.

Enjoy, if you can.

# macs! woo!
I am on a mac, but sadly the drawing tablet is at home, and i am not.
I will have a go at the weekend when the GODDAMN PEOPLE FINALLY come round and fix the web connection properly.
And anyway - we LIKE your pictures.
:)

# macs! too!
Excellent. I don't get to use my mac as much as I'd like... tablet is now attached to one of my work PCs :(

You'd probably like the even mankier SoundShapes as well then.
(again this works better on older macs, mostly because my programming skills 6 years ago were 'interesting')

# eek! You made my mouse go wierd!
and i need a microphone (and two turntables would be nice... two turn tables and a mac at home).. umm... yes.
Don't you make pictures of tall buildings now tho'? What was your phd in?

# You can use the internal CD player
as well - works really well with that.

PhD was in supporting architectural sketch design on computers. Pretty useful to today's job market.

Now I work for this lot doing stuff with buildings.

Buildings are great - they sit nice and still when you take photos of them.
