# I am mingus
because I play jazz double bass and there is a famous jazz double bassist called charles mingus. He was a scary mofo, read his autobiography for proof. I am currently Kid Mingus because I was listening to Kid 606 when I last changed my name. It also presents the fact that I am no way near as good as Charles Mingus himself. I am a mingus, but a premature one.
