I've never really used a Macnever had the opertunity to, so i can only go on what my mac loving friends tell me.

Mac OS 9and, to a lesser extent, OS X, is built around the concept of a one button mouse. If you get the chance to sit in front of a mac for a bit, you'll see that there is very rarely a need to use a keyboard modifier... you can do pretty much everything with either a single-click, double-click, held down mouse button or a click and hold.
