there is a rather lot ofinsane people in the US. Or they're just a lot more vocal than the ones that mutter on the streets in the UK. They're instinctively better at publicity I guess :)

its because people in the usare given an essential id that is based on an unalterable sense of self worth - coupled with american tv id we are left with vocal idiots - at least occasionaly spawning a comedy svant like doug stanhope so perhaps its worth the flack.
