My mumhad a dream one night that she was at a funeral. She didn't know whose it was, but my granny was there so she figured it was either her dad or her brothers. It freaked her out so she had to get up and have a drink. Anyway, next day her dad was killed in a road accident..
I saw a ghost when I was about 5. A gang of friends went to an old deserted farmhouse near where we lived and I saw an old man walk across the path in front of us. He then vanished into thin air. I didn't say anything 'cause I thought my friends would laugh at me... Someone later on said that he thought he'd seen a ghost - turned out we'd all seen him. Wasn't scary though. Just old and sad looking bloke.

I thoughtif you said "thank you" after someone says "bless you" a fairy dies.
No wonder you don't see many fairies nowadays.
Anyway, just remembered one :
I was in Leeds in the Mid 90's for 8 weeks doing some training with work. I ended up talking about ghosts with this woman.
Basically she told me she thought it would be nice to take photo's of her new house, with all the furnishings. "Apparently" she had a photo of the devil on her TV. I thought this was hilarious (being a total non-believer) and challenged her to bring the photo in.
Anyway, this photo came along and I took one look at it. It was the most horrendously terrifying thing I have seen in my life. The TV wasn't on and it wasnt the flash playing tricks. I had a feeling of terror, and overpowering evil. It almost had me in tears. It was just a face of the devil. Horrible it was. Don't like thinking about it :(
Oh and bad things happened to her until eventually she threw it away. She tried to give it away but no-one wanted to go near it.

I have one...involving Depeche Mode, of all people.
ALthough it involves a casette tape.
A friend of mine and I were listening to "Music for the Masses" in the car on break during night class.
The tape was old, and so was the tape player. All of a sudden the tape player fouled up and it started to play backwards and this is what we heard:
"He is the light. He is the way" in Martin Gorr's voice. There was also a HOST of strange sounds in the background.. what sounded like people moaning. It was VERY eerie.
