slackening
there was a hewlet packard building where someone died in an office, dunno why. years on the building was knocked down, HP moved and sainsbury's took over the land. there's a sainsbury's there now and i work in it, in the provisions chiller, which is exactly where the office was where the guy died. people say they've seen things, i dunno about that, and you can't say there's an eeire cold, because it's a huge fridge, but i have heard humming in there before when i was definitely alone, not like electric light humming or fridge humming, tuneful humming.oh and a similar thing happened to a friend of mine in a ruined monestary where he heard chanting, that's a raaather common one i believe

Night terrors
As a few of you have mentioned earlier i too have had night terrors. When I lived with my friend in his mums fully furnished 4 bed-roomed house( she was running a pub at the time so we had this house to ourselves ahh the good old days) any hoo, my girlfriend used to stop over and for some reason she used to have this weird thing where she would dart across the hallway to the toilet because she could sense someone at the bottom of the stairs running up towards her. So she would run in lock the door and do her business.
At around about the same time i was getting these 'night terrors' (my g/f hadnt told me yet the weird thingy she had with the stairs) These night terrors would start with me drifting off to sleep and then dreaming i was being pulled into the stairwell beyond the stairs by an unknown force, i would then wake and be unable to move, it used to scare the shit out of me but i put it down to stress at work etc etc.
At some point my girlfriend and i discussed these events, and for a few weeks they continued to happen. Then one way she awoke after a bad-ish kind of dream were she confronted the 'man' at the bottom of the stairs and told him in no uncertain terms she was no longer afraid and to sling his hook and he did. After that i stopped having the terrors and she was no longer afraid to go the loo.

oh an also
i have the dodgy sleep thing, not paralysis just the REM sleep staying on, so i wake up sometimes and i can move about and talk and stuff, but i'm still slightly dreaming, so i often see shadowy blokes standing in the corner of the room or hear whispers and stuff. assuming it is the sleep disorder and not a gen-u-ine ghosty
