# oh come on
it was never meant to be like the original.

they all rock very hard

# I enjoyed it more than the second
most definitely. I don't mean to say it was dire, just that it was a little, er, unresolved at the end. And yes, astroturf and vermicelli were good bits. :D
(, Sun 9 Nov 2003, 12:01, archived)
# i try not to give away the ending
by making up fictional films in my head.
(, Sun 9 Nov 2003, 12:02, archived)
# it ended the only way it could
it the words of the buddha, and later, brian blessed- 'when two people argue both are wrong'
(, Sun 9 Nov 2003, 12:02, archived)
# Yeah, I understood that
but how it ended. The methods by which neo did it and the cliffhanger at the end of the second were unresolved!
(, Sun 9 Nov 2003, 12:04, archived)
# i can see how you might think that, but i don't think so
we'll have to leave this debate a while clearly, otherwise we'll give more than just the astroturf bit away
(, Sun 9 Nov 2003, 12:07, archived)
# And the peas.
Done. I'd heard all the bad reviews before I went, and it thankfully didn't live down to my expectations. We can all have a big matrix debate later on :D

# in the neo/smith fight
when the water flies out in a sphere around them wen they hit the ground. looked just like Akira that did.
(, Sun 9 Nov 2003, 12:14, archived)
# rather.
I liked the punch with the water bit!
(, Sun 9 Nov 2003, 12:16, archived)
# the flying around was all rather silly i thought
and the fight on the celing, what the fuck?

the best bit is when all the sentinels are coming into the docks
(, Sun 9 Nov 2003, 12:19, archived)
# Hell yeah!
I'd heard about the comparison with Aliens, and it was undeserved! That bit made the film. It was worth seeing it just for that!
(, Sun 9 Nov 2003, 12:22, archived)
# it did start to drag on after a bit though
but i loved the huge suits they had.

I still think they shud remake all 3 films as anime. The Animatrix rocked.
(, Sun 9 Nov 2003, 12:26, archived)
# With the same budget!
It would kick ass! Who would you get to make it though?
(, Sun 9 Nov 2003, 12:30, archived)
# well if it was gonna be one of the directors from The Animatrix
then either Shinichiro Watanabe* or Mahiro Maeda*

Kid's story and The second renaissance were my faves

yes i did have to lookup spellings*

# I haven't watched all of them yet.
I was thinking of perhaps Anno Hideaki and the Gainax to make it, but then i'm Evangelion biased :D

# just keep writing threatening letters
to the Wachowski Brothers.
they can sort out a director, you know they will take any excuse to make a few more quid out of it.

have to see the animatrix and complete the game to get the whole picture?... money grabbers.

the graphics on the game were suprisingly shite considering the films aswell

# I was amused by the cars that bounced all over the place
on a flat, straight road. And flew 20 feet up in the air when you shot them. I didn't like the sniper bits and the protect your companion crap to. Didn't play all the way through because of that.
(, Sun 9 Nov 2003, 12:50, archived)
# yeh, i completed it with Niobe
then gave up with Ghost because of the bit where you have to chase the plane, its fucking imposible
(, Sun 9 Nov 2003, 12:52, archived)
# I got through that bit
Just by driving as fast a I could and ignoring the arrow that told you where to go. I got to the power station as ghost, but couldn't get past the irritation snipe the snipers before they kill niobe. Screw niobe, she should look after herself the evil bint.
