# We were just reminiscing.
Back in days gone by, if you used an HTML tag (say, <b>) in your post, without using the tag to close it, you'd manage to apply that attribute to the entire board below your post hence 'TAGS!' and 'Who broke the board?'

# I made my own programming language,
called Bonk many years ago. It was just for fun. But the only useful thing anyone ever wrote in it was a program that converted text into morse code. The source of that program looks like this:

$p="§ etinamsdrgukwohblzfcpöväxqüyjç56§7駧8§/§§§§§94§§§§§å§3§§ñ2§10§§§§§§§:§";
$s="$p§§§?§§§§§\"§§§§§§§§§§§'§§-§§§§§§§§.§§(§§§§§,";o">";$d=" ";$d[0]*0+8;
$d[2]*0+8;%l*0+115;%c*0;:a;g%b;i(%b=13);jo;i((%b!=8)|(%c=0));jb;%c-1;$i[%c]*0;
o"$d";:b;s<:c;jf;:c;i((%r=0)|(%b=167));ja;$i[%c]*0+%b;$j[0]*0+%b;o"$j";%c+1;ja;
:o;o"\n";%g*0;$t="·-";:d;i(%g=%c);je;%b*0+$i[%g];%g+1;s<:t;jf;:t;i(%r=1);jn;
$j[0]*0+$t[%r!2];o"$j";%r»1;i(%r>=2);jt;:n;o" ";jd;:f;%p*0;%r*0;:l;%p+1;
i(%p>%l);s>pc;i!(%b=$s[%p]);jl;%r+%p;s>pc;:e;{Hopefully no comments are needed}

100% FACT!

are truly a geek.

# Well, I didn't write that
(although I think its the only Bonk program in existance that I didn't write). My "best" Bonk program was a two player draughts game.

# Hey, you wrote your own language
that's geeky enough to earn you a fairly large amount of respect from me.

# more than one :)
That wasn't as hard as another "just for fun" project. I invented a 6502 based computer, wrote an emulator (well enough to get a display up and read the keyboard) and then wrote a BASIC interpreter for it in 6502 assembler.

The guy also sent me the un-obfuscated version with comments and labels longer than 1 charactor. That makes a little more sense ;)
