Apparently he also had unusually long digits and could hook his thumb over the fret board and play along to bass notes as well as mixing rythmn and lead with his other four fingers. Ive also heard some other pretty amazing stuff about what he was rumoured to be capable of with a guitar. Like getting 32 individual sounds from one note or something.

and there is footage of him playing while rolling over backwards on stage. Also played behind his back but that pales in comparison to most things he could do. Ive read in several books the observers noticed he was incredibly well hung too but I doubt that affected his playing ability too much.
