saved the mpeg locally and imported it into flash
AND THEN
exported as a movie (with GIF as the format, it saves each frame as a gif) into a folder
AND THEN
Using Adobe Photoshop Image Ready I simply imported folder as frames (File - Import - Folder as Frames).
