but this was part photoshop, part ultra fractal and one of the layers was from your program (i zoomed in randomly and ended up with a shot i liked so i retouched it)

sorry, you'd probably mentioned ultra fractal earlier. i'm just half asleep. is the java program working any better now for you? If u like you can have the source after i've passed this year at uni.

# whilst i might be able to work out how the mandlebrot side works i'll never be able to do/understand gui programming
it's kind of working, just a bit temperamental... still a neat little idea though!
