If your wife to be is coming over here to live instead of you going over there then i'm not suprised.The american friend of mine that i dated Joanna, came over to visit some years ago, and all she wanted to do was have a holiday for a couple of weeks, and she very nearly wasn't allowed into this country, because immigration felt she didn't have enough money, and they also said, and i quote 'you are only coming here to steal our jobs' !!!! Er what?!!! US immigration isn't much better either. I go over there loaded with dollars, with the address of the place i am staying, with a valid passport and no criminal record blah blah blah, and i get asked all sorts of bloody stupid questions. I'm suprised i haven't been asked if i am a terroist yet.
