I can't imagine what Jeremy would do...
Threadjack:
I'm trying to get a perl script onto my server, only it doesn't work. It used to work. Could it be the dodgy windows-end of line characters? Cos it was fucked up when I loaded it into Notepad the first time (it was originally made on Unix). How do I make it "be proper"?

how did you transfer it?
My first thought was that it may have transferred as if it was a binary file, when it should have gone over as a text file, but that's a wild guess. Maybe just try transferring again?
edit - oooh, reading the notepad bit again, yes - I've had similar problems with notepad. The dos editor seems to cope better.
