# er, I see
I prefer another OS. Ergo, I must not understand yours.
What a wonderful piece of deductive logic!

Oh wait, my bad. It utter crap.
Windows works fine for me. Linux works great. And I don't have to pay. And it is more secure. And it has much better functionality in many (not all) of the things I use my computer for. And it make me cool to use it.

But hey, you must be right. I guess I jsut don't know how to use it.
Calll me when you get a 100 + day uptime on your heavily-used desktop running windows :)

# what a nob
i remember someone said once:
'linux is only free if you value your time at nothing'

# Your elegant, yet succinct reply
speaks volumes more than any tedious argument of Windows vs Linux ever could.

# Awww,
nice to see that you two are going to get along just fine...

# The first comment
I agree with.
The second I don't care about.
I use both operating systems and like bits from both. I don't really care who makes something as long as it works most of the time.

# well
while I could present large numbers of reasons why microsoft is evil an etc, I sue them mostly to piss people off.
I don't care about who makes it; I've simply found that linux is easier to use and works better for the things I want to do with my computer.

# Hmm
I'm sorry. I don't get it.
I would assume this is meant to mean that linux takes more time to use than windows. I've found it to be the opposite.
Takes about 20 minutes to setup. Then nothing.
Oh yeah, and I can upgrade to a totally new version (when released) by issuing two commands and walking away.

I spent way more time on crap when I ran windows.
