# quoi?

# well...
My point went like this.
numbers are used within groups to help alow the brain to understand its enviroment. However these groups can be further divided into sub-groups within individual groups, all the way down to individual objects and as you canot have 2 of the same object mathes fails to work.

# Then explain the difference
between one hydrogen atom and another hydrogen atom that means they aren't two hydrogen atoms.

# Exactly
It is just the same Atom Existing In more than one dimention of space/time and so is the same atom
(, Thu 17 Jun 2004, 18:14, archived)
# so all the hydrogen in the universe is one hydrogen atom?
that's a bit fucking worrying.

# Therfore
We are all composed of the same Matter.
One beautiful whole If only the world realised then there would be peace on earth for ever after.

# the elements are nothing
but simple visions of what there can be. We as a civilisation are not ready to tackle such great things as wonder what is beyond your childish elements. If people could see what could happen when atoms are really taken to another level they would laugh at you and your numbers

# what about these then?
..

# Oh yes, well,
you can have one of something. And you can have none of something. And you can have binary.

# WTFAYBOA?
If I have two pennies, does that mean you deny the existence of one of them because they are very subtly different? They are still both pennies, and the original statement of "I have two pennies" does not require the group to be resolved any deeper than them being pennies. i.e. It doesn't matter if one is freshly minted and the other has been buried in the garden for a decade they are still pennies. I do in fact have two pennies.

If you don't believe in numbers, you won't be wanting those pesky numerals in your bank account will you? I'm sure I can help there.

# from a non human point of view
There is one roughly shaped cylinder and a diferent one
the human mind uses groupings to understand the universe but when looked at is just further divisions of the same group
so you have one penny and then you have another one. not 2

# I have
one penny then another one? Another what? Penny? It would appear that you too use human groupings. Heh! Keep meditating ;)

By the same token, this philosophy could be extended to reject the entire universe because any attempts to understand it are purely human mental models.
The only option is catatonia. I recommend alcohol.
