Li-ions recharge completely in about 1 1/2 hoursbut will get a usable recharge in 45 mins. Minimal loss of charge capacity over time. Long life during use. Holds charge for ages when unused...

Powershots are great.I used a little A20 before, low end of the range but a great camera for its size and price.

i love my S100it's old and sucks at night but i don't think there is another camera on the market that could withstand what this one has been through
