if it's like a needed gallery for yoru sitethen i'd recommend getting on ein just plain html/php/asp/all that gubbins, and try to avoid things like plugins and flash.
Just my opinion though.
If it's just a fancy extra/bonusy bit, then have it as whatever you want, it's just you limit your audience when you use flash and funny plugins and stuff.
