Can someone who can explain things simply tell me what I need to doto get a movie clip in flash to loop (it's 4 frames long) in the nomal scene timeline. Do I need to add keyframes? Action script? Or what? At the moment it's just staying on the first frame and won't animate at all, let alone loop.

Have you previewed the movie?Often they don't animate in the editing window, just when you preview or export.

go tocontrol - loop playback, to make it loop when you play it too
