i use image readyfor optimising stuff, couldn't work out how to animate in it (didn't try hard to find out though). and i haven't used it at all for the whole interweb side of it.

switch layers on and ofsimple as that really - open the animation palette and create a new frame and switch the layers on, or off... wax on, wax off, but without rubbish kung-fu.
