So what does the word

'goatse' mean?

is as close to "goat sex" as you can get in a domain name.

the point being, "goatse.cx", when read aloud, sounds like "goatsex", adding another dimension of horror.

maybe it's because..

the suffix "se" means "belonging to" in some languages so the arse belongs to a Mr Goat?
