it wont be super....in fact it will struggle to be average:( am just getting a new motherboard and an xp2800 chip.....the mike is poor right now:(

same here...the exact same chip
got case, 512ram, the chip and fan and power etc for £197 (a little cheaper cus i know a guy who works there)

www.novatech.co.uk is the way.
you have to bear in mind that my current pc is a celeron (*pukes*) 400mhz so a 2.083ghz processor is a rocket!

was telling me bout his mate ian who got a bundle from them and none of the parts were compatable or something.....but in fairness im sure it will be fine:)

they get a stern email and a demand for a refund, simple as that. Theyre customer service is excellent, and i emailed to check that all the components were correct before i handed any dosh over, so i should be ok.
let me know how yours turns out. (i can't wait 'till i get my first ever CD burner!)

512meg ram a piece.
Hooked to an array of 5 x 200gig hard-drives.
It was for a little programming project I had.
/edit: Althought technically I suppose it's 12 pcs rather than one supercomputer. But they can do distributed computing.
