# i think they're enjoyable,
i like other stuff better but still like their music.
i think now they're appreciated it's become cool to say 'they're crap' rather than quite good.

# I think the whole "its cool too slate them" thing
is pathetic

# It's a bit sad, really.
They've probably sold too many records to be a "real indie band". It tends to be the way among us music snobs. I unashamedly like them. I still like coldplay, always did. Who cares if the "mondeo man" likes them. Good for him. It's about time he got past David Gray.

# i think good music is a hard term to use
as each person has different tastes but good for you to stick to what you like and not listen to hype or other crap,
incidently im a massive 80's fan and the Happy Mondays are my favourite banmd of all time

# a friend of mine complains
about bands intentionally making their albums sound as if they didn't have very good recording equipment

same goes for The Hives and The Strokes.

Franz Ferdinand is an ace band, don't make me beat it into your head
