help mei have got win xp, and somehow the menu thing at the side which usually has loads of options, like 'view as slide show' etc has gone........how can i get it back...?

to enable filmstrip view1. Right-click the folder and select Properties from the context menu.
2. Select the Customize tab.
3. Under "Use this folder type as a template:", select either Photo Album or Pictures and click OK.
