go freaky if you have more than 500 fonts? I've got 409 now...

all had a problem with anything over about 800 (depending on font contents)
so i would have thought XP would be better.
But i've not been able to find any reference yet.

suck up memory at a quite frightening rate. It's probably a better idea to have a font repository on disk that you load and unload as needed.
