A one way trip to the abbertoir
daddy got some new shoes and mummy got a new hat, all us children had new jumpers and welly boots. I have allways asociated the terrified bleating of sheep with nice new clothes and spring time picnics.

it was the reality of life. Lambs die - we get new toys.
edit: come to think about it, I was allways more upset when the corn crop was harvested than when the lambs went, the corn was ace for hiding in.
