# ok
maybe saying 'enjoyed killing people' wasnt the right thing to say. But when you live, eat and sleep with your mates for 10 years and then they get killed you do tend to get a little pissed off - no what I mean?

# I can empathise with you
but don't let your emotions take over from logic you are a trained solider a solider's duty is to save lives and defend the innocent. You're not a judge/juror/executioner you're trained to defeat your enemy by any means available and that doesn't always mean killing.

# maiden
you are a beautifull person and obviously british. But my original point was why can we laugh at the world trade center being ravaged by terrorists and displayed as a pile of hamburgers - which signifies dead meat - but we can't mention the fact that our country is slowly being over run by other cultures?
The gulf war is long gone and I now have 2 small children - but i want my children to brought up in an english society with english cultures. Is that too much to ask?

# Yes I understand your principle
and while I don't fully agree with the idea we're are being overrun I do think we do have a immigration problem. However why we can laugh at one thing and not another that's b3ta all over, one day they will laugh at immigration issues the next they will rage about it. Don't take it too personally I think the key to b3ta is everything is up for lampooning as long as you're ironic about it - Benard Manning is a fat bastard that doesn't mean I hate all fat people are think they are bastards, I just think Beanrd Manning is a fat bastard ;)

# But is it realy?
Sure the culture changes, but its important to remember that that drive comes from within, as well as without. When foreign cultures begin to establish themselves in Britian it is rare that they do not become slightly Britified in the process, its not a matter of over-running a culture but promoting change. While I understand that me screaming 'But it enriches the culture' is not going to convince you, it being an argument presented with no evidence, I think past experience shows this to be the case. Meanwhile I have seen no evidence for cultural change being forced on Britain, that just doesn't happen. The culture is made up by the people within it, and if you want to maintain certain factors of it there is nothing stopping you.

# one last thing
those who have seen the face of war never forget it, and in the quite of the night still hear the screams.
