New Zealand originally,and definitely don't think Taiwan's part of China. No massive political motivation for the belief, but having been to both, I really do think Taiwan is markedly different to the mainland. That, and I believe that any place's people should have the right to determine their own fate, and the majority here aren't in favor of being brought into the Communist fold.

Yeah, I know that, most of the world recognises itIt's just China that refuses to see it. I'm in South China myself at the min and it's actually written into my contract not to mention this kind of stuff.

PfftI'm not renewing my contract, put it that way.
Edit: Did you guys notice China sneaking that policy through that would mean it's literally an act of war for Taiwan to declare itself independant? Scary stuff given that it looks like it's going to be approved :s
