ah, just re-read the question.make them all into one psd in photoshop before you import.
drag the layers all into one psd (hold down [ctrl or shift or alt or summat] to maintain the position). Link them first before you drag, to save time.

yep, that's the one.put the layers into strategic folders for animation. The layers can be expanded and collapsed in IR too, making for less layer-chaos.
