after all, that's what I did with photoshop.

what format do I need the video in so I can start playing about with it? Or does it not make much difference?

IR wouldn't take AVI very well so I had to save each frame to a directory with Virtual Dub Mod then read them back in with IR.

what, you saved each frame as a separate image and then used the import folder to frames command?

no wonder it took you ages! that's dedication that is. roy castle would be tap-dancing like a mong on tartrazine.

but it is sometimes best to just open every other frame or every 5th frame etc - so that it still looks good.
