I want those meathooker and sausage-snatcher blokes that they have in Iceland. *sigh* Christmas isn't terrifying enough in this country. Although I'm glad to see you're attempting to address that, Monty. :)

I'm feeling quite christmassy and gleeful despite having lots of festive snot in my head. i'm planning on getting terribly drunk this afternoon, since we'll be knocking off early from work and released into the centre of Manchester about 2pm. :)

that sounds fun.
this morning i got up at six to pick up a car booked through ebookers with a discount voucher but paid in full/advance and discovered they hadn't confirmed it - so no car. last week i had a sixth interview for one job but won't hear back till jan, and my friend got diagnosed with cancer.
christmas on track, then.
actually, despite this, i'm quite happy. a total stranger just rang me having receieved a card in a name similar to mine, and it turned out it was for my parents. how very festive!

edit: i should say - christmas hugs back (but with japanese-style mask over face coz i've had that cold and i don't want it again)!
