
It's muzzle is too short and it has no disernable neck, that creature would starve to death.

Very fast predators are nice, but not on water. If you had a huge and nasty fish with tentacles it might be formiddable, but this is a fox and he can't even swim. If he was threating you and stuff you could just shove him under and be done with it. This isn't a worthy foe.

his tail is perfectly weighted to where, if it stuck straight out, he could handle a pair of tiny pincer arms.
