It's funny because it's over 10 years old ..

I'm using an old program called Ray Dream Studio, version 5 (so maybe only 8 years old). It's a piece of shit by today's standards but it's good enough to draw CDCs just fine. ;-)

I've got Simply 3D but have no idea how to make my own shapes. I can only muck about with the objects/shapes they provide :(

There's tons of good 3D

programs out there if your comp can handle them. Mine can't unfortunately but if yours can try lightwave, Blender, Maya etc. Even POV-Ray. I used to have that when it had a graphical interface. How times change :-S
