# This might be old news, and sorry if it is
but i'm sure Joel Veitch won't exactly be over the moon with this.

Note that they didn't even bother to change the 'spectators'.

# I wonder if he
did the punk puppies ad on Irish TV now for some newspaper...

# Also
other anims, while not as much of a ripoff as that one (which is billed as "Punk Kittens!" by the way.. hmm) are decidedly Veitchesque, such as this one.

Except nowhere near as funny.

# i can't see what the problem is?
imitation is the highest form of flattery. and he's already on telly!

# Well, the idea is identical, the background is similar
and the spectators are identical. The song however is shitter.

Imitation is indeed the sincerest form of flattery - often on this very message board people do the ideaspazz and knock up new versions of old favourites. The difference is there's usually either explicit or implicit (as in "everyone knows xxxx person originally did this so no need to put it") credit given.

I don't know. I suppose I don't like the idea of these dire sites stealing the b3tan hummus ;)

# perhaps,
but at least they're not directly leeching the stuff off of our webspace like they usually do! ha haa haa!! good on 'em for doing something, i reckon, even if it's not original.

# I guess they can be forgiven, now I remember,
for that "all of me" flash anim they have.

If you've not already seen it you really should

:)
