# When you're going to save an image
and you click 'save for web' you need to move the little slider that says 'quality' until the filesize is under 50kb. The filesize is under the preview window. If you don't see it just make sure the 'optimized' tab in the preview window is selected. Sheen be praised! That works for jpgs anyway. If you're using gifs you can reduce the number of colors, or the physical size of the image, or there's a little slider called 'lossy' that can get sizes down.

# It doesn't show up for .PNG files which have to use for the transparency and thats no good. I see what I can do for .GIFS.
