While doing the English GCSE in about 1989I got 96% for a piece of coursework arguing that abortion should be legal up to the age of 15.
My teacher wouldn't let me enter it for the exam though.

Mostly.We were the first lot to do all GCSEs. The following year, the entire country was all GCSEs.
