your printer is shifting the offending characters to one 29 letters earlier (in terms of ASCII, e.g. f to I is ASCII 102 to ASCII 73.)

why that would be though I dunno.

so every character in this range is 29 out? (I hadn't thought to check that).

Now I guess I see which bit is common between all those characters... time to get my chart of ascii to binary out :o)
