
Is there an easy way of getting rasters with transparent backgrounds into flash? I think I'm missing something obvious.

the king of image files, as long as you don't want to view them in IE... nice quality transparent pics into Flash though

you can had feathered edges on them too (although you want to keep an eye on filesize if you do that)

did you do the masking in Flash? i've done both that and giffing, I nearly cheered when i first started using pngs

But having the bits and pieces nicely imported into flash will make things so much easier.
