Still new to photoshop

so its crap, but this kinda 'just happened' as some pictures do.

F-knows why Yoshi appears in it! lol

Im a n00b, how do i 'optimise it' so its smaller file size, but still good quality?

Its under the 50k limit so no worries.

Although i think there is an optimise button lurking somewhere there.

file menu

There should be an option 'save for web'. Use that and select 'Jpeg High' from the menu, then click save and do as normal. Save for Web strips all teh crap data from the file, and the compression is set to about 60% by default I think; anyway that's fine and doesn't crap up the picture too much. Save your master copy as a PSD file though so you can go back and edit it later it you need to.
